PROPERTY SERVICES

Quantum Property Services was born out of a change in the needs of our customer base and a rapid increase in the UK tenancy market over recent years. Our mission is to bring enduring, high-quality, and streamlined solutions for all maintenance issues. It is closely linked to our core business of the provision of new homes, which has a well-established customer care provision.

From inception, we established a tailored service to meet the requirements of our customers, and in particular their resident's individual needs.

We understand that refurbishment and estate regeneration must encompass improvements to communities, social value and local economic benefits, as well as the improvements to the homes of the residents.

In an economically challenging environment, we deliver exceptional customer service alongside a high quality product, and unrivalled value for money.

The Quantum management team is dedicated to providing the right refurbishment and maintenance solutions to housing providers in the public and private sectors. Our approach is to reduce the reliance on responsive repairs and drive value based planned maintenance programmes which will bring long term cost savings and improve the life of residents.

Our service spans all areas of property refurbishment and improvement including:

• bathrooms • kitchens • internal refurbishment • central heating • mould eradication • external refurbishment • replacement windows • renewable energy • roofing renewals • façade insulation • fire safety improvements

We are able to carry out a wide scope of works including individual homes where residents are in-situ to estate regenerations over multiple phases, as well as planned maintenance and resident liaison.

Our market leading service is supported by our experienced liaison managers with the client having direct access to a member of the senior management team.

We work in close partnership with a number of local authorities and housing associations to provide a one-stop solution to upgrading existing housing stock. We take the responsibility of liaising with the residents within their homes very seriously. Our resident liaison teams have vast experience in this specialist field and are both qualified and DBS checked to ensure that every resident is offered the improvements to their home with the least amount of disruption and stress.

Each resident has specific needs and care must be taken with their health and safety being at the top of the hierarchy of needs. We consider the timing of works, minimising disruption as well as careful attention to every small detail being key. We aim to ensure that defects are minimised to ensure a single visit to any one property is achieved.

Cost Of Living Crisis

With the recent unprecedented increases in the cost of energy, we are acutely aware of the impact on low-income families. We are working with design partners to produce technologies which will produce energy-efficient homes without impacting the lives of the residents whilst works are carried out. We have carried out a number of projects where energy bills after completion have been halved by the introduction of green energy technologies, these include:

• Solar PV's and hot water
• Air and ground source heat pumps
• District heating mains
• Increased U-values of internal and external walls
• Reduce air leakage
• Replacement windows and doors
• Grey water re-usage
• Wind electricity generation

And more recently we are generating a solution to capture energy production in the form of local power banks.

Social Value

We are acutely aware that our work is sometimes located in deprived communities, with high levels of unemployment and low incomes. We actively seek to add back to the communities in which we work. We add value in a number of key ways, including:

• Supporting local enterprise
• Local employment
• Apprenticeships
• Local suppliers
• Educational opportunities
